Mr. Eddie Mallard
Eddie E. Mallard is native of Ludowici;,-GA, and upon graduation from Walker High School, enlisted in the U.S. Army. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Law Enforcement/ Political Science.
Mallard retired from the Army as a DoD Special Agent, having served in Japan, Korea, Germany, Arizona, Kansas, California, Texas, Maryland, Hawaii, Philippines, Thailand and Virginia. He is presently employed as a consultant with Intrepid Solutions, Inc., Quantico, VA as their Senior Instructor for Counterintelligence and Security.
Eddie completed the Little League Softball/Baseball Umpire Camp, in Williamsport, PA, and is a certified high school/junior college Umpire. Mallard also volunteers as a baseball umpire for District 9 and is the Umpire-in-Chief, Youth Sports, Fort Belvoir, VA. Mallard has taught as a certified Literacy Instructor for the State of California and college professor for Central Texas College. He previously participated in and supervised a volunteer staff at Jack Kent Cook (Redskins) Stadium for Unlimited Possibilities, a non-profit organization that provide services for disadvantage children.
He has received distinguished service awards from the Fraternal Order of Police, Maryland State Patrol Association, American Legion and he is a 33rd degree Mason. Mallard has enriched his life and the lives of others by providing parental guidance as licensed foster and adoptive parents for more than 20 years . He and Mrs. Mallard have nurtured 42 children in their home. They have received the Meritorious Service Certificate for 12 years of outstanding service from the Governor of the State of Maryland; the Honolulu’s Foster Parents Association and they were selected as volunteers of the year by the Fort Belvoir Army Community Service. Mallard has received numerous Certificates of Appreciation for volunteer work within the community he resides.
Eddie is married to the former Betty Wagner. They have six children; six grandchildren and one great grand. His hobbies include bowling, cooking, racquetball and woodwork.
