The FOP Lodge 2F DC Scholarship Program supports the educational goals of our members and their families. Established in 1997, the program awards scholarships to students from Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia who demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, and financial need.

Program Overview

Each year, FOP Lodge 2F DC awards scholarships to eligible students pursuing higher education. Scholarships are available to lodge members and their immediate family members, including spouses and children.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicant must be a current FOP Lodge 2F DC member or an immediate family member (spouse or child) of a current member.
  • Applicant must be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school.
  • Applicant must meet the minimum GPA specified in the scholarship guidelines.
  • Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
  • Applicant must submit a completed application with all required documentation by the deadline.

How to Apply

  2. 2Gather required supporting documents: transcripts, letters of recommendation, and proof of enrollment.
  3. 3Write a personal essay as specified in the application.
  4. 4Submit the completed application and all supporting documents to the lodge by the deadline.
  5. 5Scholarship recipients will be notified by mail and/or email.
